Christine Cerletti
“I use my financially-privileged situation to provide support to different areas of society. I founded the Colla Parte Foundation because I consider culture in general to be an indispensable part of being human, and because of my extraordinarily strong interest in music. The Foundation is intended to facilitate the distinctive and unique in music.”
Christine Cerletti is not only a passionate lover of classical music. She is also a singer (soprano) herself and holds recitals, principally in Basel, but also in a number of European countries and North America. Her repertoire principally comprises lieder, oratorio, opera and chanson. After studying with Gret Egli (Basel), Margherita Perras (Zurich), Yvona Prinz (Vienna), Peter Elkus (master classes, New York), Ettore Campogalliani (Assisi) and Gabriel Bacquier (Geneva), she obtained her SMPV teaching diploma in Basel in 1993. During her studies she also worked as a vocal coach. Christine Cerletti also holds a degree in applied psychology and has worked as a career counselor.
